When Waylon Jennings wrote the timeless lyrics, “I’ve always been crazy, but it’s kept me from going insane,” he must have been prophesying the emergence of singer/songwriter Christian Parker. Raised in the Arkansas River Valley, the Fort Smith native has always had a passion for creating and sharing music. His debut album, Debutante, showcases a multi-faceted talent in its variety and depth of country music. From hard-hitting southern rock like “Dixie Soul,” to the mellow Blues Country of “How to Heal a Broken Heart” as well as the commercial country song, “I’ve Been Alive,” Debutante is sure to appeal to any country enthusiast.

Conscripted into playing the piano by his mother in the second grade, Christian quickly found that his true passion was the guitar. Christian honed his skills as a multi-instrumentalist, earning All-State honors in both the Tuba and Jazz Guitar. His passion for performing started at a young age with piano recitals but quickly evolved into a variety of public displays. Christian is an award-winning public speaker earning 1st place in Arkansas and national recognition for impromptu speaking.

An accomplished academician, Christian attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where he triple-majored in Economics, Public Policy, and Political Science. While at SMU, Christian served as the President of the Interfraternity Council, a Student Senator, marched in the Mustang Band, and was a brother of Beta Upsilon Chi (Brothers Under Christ). He also performed with the Mustang Mavericks, a country and western stunt dancing team.

Aside from his passion for serving the communities he’s a part of, Christian simply loves to make people smile. Always ready to crack a joke, he is a true, bonafide entertainer. Ready to make his mark in the music industry, Christian is ready to run the race of Nashville, and won’t give up until the world knows his name.
